BattleBraids Sisterhood introduces people going to the same race so that one can braid the other’s hair. It is free. There is no fee, subscription or commission, and there never will be for this core purpose.
We are an introduction service and nothing more. We do not employ, supervise, insure, vet or verify anyone. We do not check qualifications. We do not guarantee that a match exists for your race, that anyone accepts your request, or that a person who accepts turns up.
Who may join
You must be 18 or over. You must give accurate information about yourself and about what you can do. You may hold one account.
What you agree not to do
- Charge for braiding arranged through this service, or use it to advertise.
- Use it as a dating service or to pursue anyone romantically.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate or discriminate against anyone.
- Publish another member’s private details anywhere.
- Scrape, automate or resell any part of the service or its data.
Content you post
You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You give us permission to show it inside the service so that it can do its job. We may remove content that breaks the community guidelines, and we may suspend or close an account.
Meeting people
Meeting someone you met here is your decision and your responsibility. Please read the safety guidance. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens when members meet, for injury or damage arising from braiding, or for anything a member says or does.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, and we will say why unless doing so would put someone at risk.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you and ask you to accept the new version before you carry on.
Law
Governing law and jurisdiction are to be settled with legal advice before launch, together with the operating entity’s name and address, which must appear here.
